What is Digitizing?

Whenever you see a logo that has been embroidered on a polo, cap, backpack, or on the back of a leather jacket, that image needed to be digitized beforehand.

Digitizing is the process of converting art into data that contains commands which tell embroidery machine how to sew that design onto your desired product. There are many factors that determine how well a logo or design will sew out on a garment. How good the digitizing is a major piece of the embroidery puzzle.

Contemporary embroidery is stitched with a computerized embroidery machine using patterns "Digitized" with embroidery software. In machine embroidery, different types of "fills" add texture and design to the finished work. Machine embroidery is used to add logos and monograms to business shirts or jackets, gifts, and team apparel as well as to decorate household linens, draperies, and decorator fabrics that mimic the elaborate hand embroidery of the past.

We provide Digitized file in:
DST, EMB and PDF formats. On request, we can also provide files in DAT, EXP, CND, TAP, T01, ART, JAN, JEF, HUS, PES, PEC, PCS, CSD and PXF formats.
